Youth/Minis

The youth section covers the age groups under 13’s to U16’s boys, and U12’s to U18’s girls.

New players are always welcome; please contact the age group’s team managers.

Training and matches take place on Sunday mornings. You can come to the club for free for the first few sessions to get a taste of what North Walsham has to offer, and then sign up later.

The North Walsham first-team players and coaches assist with coaching clinics throughout the season. The clubhouse is open during training and matches, offering refreshments and food.

The girls U12, U14, U16 and U18 teams train on Sunday Mornings from 10am – 12 noon, and on Tuesday Evenings from 7pm – 9pm at Scottow, unless there are games or festivals away from the club (see fixtures)!

We welcome all girls who are in years 7 to 13 at school, into the Valkyries. It doesn’t matter if you’ve played rugby for years, or never picked up a ball in your life!

The girls and coaches are always excited to see new faces, so just come along and see what it’s all about!

Boots and a gum shield are helpful but not essential to start. Just bring some water with you to keep hydrated!

North Walsham Minis meet every Sunday at Scottow Park the home of the North Walsham Vikings.

Training starts at 10:00.
